Sausage, Peppers & Onions


1 pound mild italian sausage
1 red pepper cut in chunks
1 yellow (or orange) pepper cut in chunks
1 sweet onion cut in chunks
1 pkg pre-sliced, crimini mushrooms
1 jar pasta sauce of your choice


1. Place sausage links on foil lined baking sheet and cook at 350 for about 15 minutes

2. Cut sausage into 1 inch pieces

3. Place sauce, sausage, peppers & onions into crock-pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours (when there is about 2 hours left, add the mushrooms)

4. Serve over pasta of your choice
